Welcome to Mountain View Medical Group

Mountain View Medical Group has two locations serving Wallowa County, and offers primary care, obstetrics, and general surgery. As part of Wallowa Memorial Hospital, Mountain View Medical Group provides premier health care in an award-winning rural setting.

Dr. Boyd has been practicing medicine and obstetrics in Wallowa County since 1989. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1973 and practiced in southern Pennsylvania for seven years. He then spent more than five years at a mission hospital in Zimbabwe before relocating to Enterprise.

When he’s not at his office, you’ll find Dr. Boyd teaching the Bible, woodworking, working on vintage John Deere tractors, and farming and gardening. Dr. Boyd and his wife Jan have four children and six grandchildren.

Dr. Caine fell in love with practicing rural medicine after participating in Oregon Health Sciences University’s Rural Residency program. Receiving her medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York, Dr. Caine is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

When she’s not taking care of her patients, you’ll find Dr. Caine spending time with her husband Michael and their three young daughters.

A board certified general surgeon, Dr. Rose earned his medical degree at renowned Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Rose is an advocate for preventative medicine through healthy lifestyle choices, and helped bring the Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) to Wallowa County. Dr. Rose has helped hundreds of Wallowa County residents dramatically improve their health through positive lifestyle changes.

When he’s not performing surgery or leading a healthy lifestyles program, you’ll find Dr. Rose spending time outdoors with his wife, Lana and their four daughters.

Dr. Sheahan received her medical degree from Colorado School of Medicine, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Sheahan also became interested in rural medicine through Oregon Health Sciences University’s Rural Residency program. An avid runner, Dr. Sheahan participates in marathons in her spare time. Sheahan is also an advocate for healthy lifestyle choices, and works with Dr. Rose to lead the CHIP (Complete Health Improvement Program) in Wallowa County.

Dr. Sheahan lives in Enterprise with her husband Phil and their two children.

A fifth generation Wallowa Countian, Traci has been a nurse practitioner since 1998. When she’s not helping her friends and neighbors manage their health care at the clinic, you will find Traci helping her husband and family at the Wade family cattle ranch in Lostine.

Jennifer Barden received her bachelor’s of science in nursing at Rutgers University, and her family nurse practitioner education at University of Northern Colorado. With an extensive background as an emergency room nurse, Jennifer brings expertise in ER and trauma nursing. Jennifer is also certified in chemotherapy administration, and served ten years in the Air National Guard as an emergency medical technician.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Jenn with her husband Brian and dog Jemma, enjoying hiking, yoga, traveling and photography.
