Introducing Dr. Adam Heisinger, Orthopedic Surgeon

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Adam Heisinger, orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist.  Through a partnership with Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande, Dr. Heisinger will be seeing patients here for clinic and surgery several times per month.  “I grew up in a small town,” said Dr. Heisinger.  “I’m looking forward to finally being able to build a practice and become part of a community again.”

Dr. Heisinger received his Doctor of Osteopathy at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.  He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Affinity Medical Center, Ohio.  A fellowship in sports medicine was completed at Orthopedic Research of Virginia in Richmond.  Dr. Heisinger also served four years as a flight surgeon at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, and Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.

Wallowa Memorial Hospital shares specialists with a variety of hospitals and clinics in the region.  “It allows us to serve our patients here in Wallowa County,” said Chief Executive Officer Larry Davy.  “We are excited to be able to offer orthopedic surgery and sports medicine clinic here again through Dr. Heisinger.”

    I am interested in speaking with you about some if the hardware in my legs and such and maybe we could see what can be done for me. Please contact me at your earliest convenience..
